ORIGIN STORY
"Music was always at the center of my life. From early on i knew music was somehow going to be with me. I assisted a school dance in Montreal, and the guys Djing that night took me in and showed me an experience i will remember forever. The music, the lights and the people that night was so awe inspiring, i knew it was going to be what i wanted to do.
I began buying records and with some of my friends, we jammed and borrowed equipment from each other to practice and understand the technical side of Djing. Once that was done the next chapter started
Began an AV rental company with a friend of mine, that lead to solid club connections, and a network of people that later backed me up.. That lead to a collage party in 1991. The Collage radio station had no DJ to represent them at the biggest collage bash, and i stepped in to fill the roll. The party was a massive success and one of the patrons commented on how i bite my lip, exposing my two front teeth, looking like a "Rat" when i DJ. at the time teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was big and the rat, Splinter, was where the name came from."
